Tall narrow shelving display unit made in the last 20 years probably. It has a steel frame with vertical rails, splayed legs, a curved rail and spherical finials at the top. Very heavy, hand made item, originally used with glass shelves, probably as a shop display fitting. We've made new shelves out of reclaimed old pine floorboards, each glued into one piece, sanded but left unfinished (could be waxed, oiled, varnished, painted or left as they are). Condition is pretty good structurally: the frame is good and sturdy; the shelves have various marks, scuffs and scratches and the undersides have some chunks out of them but they're solid enough. A couple of the joins are uneven where the plank were thinner (see pics). The metal is a bit scuffed here and there but it had a distressed brass on black finish from new anyway. This would make a great shop piece but would work equally well in various different rooms or perhaps in a conservatory. Dimensions: 89cm x 50cm x 197cm high (shelves 74cm wide x 23cm/42cm deep)
